NOTICE OF WORKSHOPS
The Freeport Planning Department will host a series of Workshops in order to achieve the following objectives:
1. To identify and preserve the history of Freeport 2. To identify and enhance the character of Freeport 3. To create travel routes which are attractive, inviting and pedestrian-friendly
The workshops will be held in the Anchor Room of the Freeport Community Center on the following Dates:
1. October 20, 2005 7:00 pm “Introduction/Goals and Objectives” 2. November 3, 2005 7:00 pm “Historic Structures and Events/Freeport’s Character” 3. November 17, 2005 7:00 pm “Landscaping/Architectural Elements/Signage 4. December 1, 2005 7:00 pm “Wrap-Up/Scheduling for Planning Board Review & Recommendation/Discussion of Process
The outcome of these workshops will be presented to the Freeport Planning Board for review and recommendation to the Freeport City Council.
This workshop series is being supported by the Freeport Town Planters, the Freeport Business Association and the Freeport Planning Board. The public is invited to attend. |
